One of the highlights of the walking tour of Johnson Creek at the 2007 reunion was the visit to the home of Lloyd Schultz. The home (above, in Johnson Creek) may once have been owned by Henry (Heinrich) Stiehm, Wilhelm’s grandson.
Lloyd Schultz owns the home and is very knowledgeable about the home. But no one was certain that this was Heinrich’s home.
As the tour ended, on the porch of the home, to the left of the door, some proof may have been found. There, names were scribbled in the brick by a child or children. The names are in the birth order of his children: Papa, Mommy, Paul, Herman, Henry, Otto, Louis, Hattie, Elizabeth, Nora.
